William P. Daniels Sr., 83 of New Tripoli, died Aug. 4, 2015, in Cornerstone Living, New Tripoli.

He and his wife June E. (Weiss) Daniels celebrated their 63rd wedding aniversary in July.

Born in Lynnport, he was a son of the late Claude and Fern (Heilman) Daniels.

He was formerly employed as a welder and electrician at Mack Trucks Inc., Allentown, for 31 years before retiring in 1986.

During this time and later, he worked on small engine and lawnmower repairing, operating out of his home.

He was a member of the New Tripoli Fire Co., Ontelaunee Rod and Gun Club, New Tripoli, and the NRA.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son William P. Jr. and his wife, Sandra, of New Tripoli; grandsons Eric and Steven Daniels; and five great-grandchildren.

He was predeceased by sisters Anna Rabert, Beatrice Babiak and Sandra Beers.
