Gene A. Coken, 67, of The Villages, Fla., and formerly of East Allen Township, died August 9, 2015, at Cornerstone Hospice at The Villages, Fla. Born in Bethlehem, he was a son of the late Arthur and Harriet (Weaver) Coken.
He was the husband of Kimberly A. (Reith) Coken for 14 years; and of the late Carol Ann M. (Roth) Coken.
He was in the U.S Navy during the Vietnam war. He was an apprentice instructor for 20 years and an electrician for 35 years for IBEW Local 375, Allentown.
He was a member of Manoquesy Lodge No. 413 F&AM, Bath; Lehigh Consistory, Scottish Rite, Allentown; and the Rajah Shrine, Reading.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Lisa M. Passarella-DioDoardo and her husband Piero DioDoardo of Bath; a son, Charles J. and his wife Jackie of Bethlehem; a step-son, Christopher and his wife Stephanie Wiker of Mays Landing, N.J.; a step-son, Justin F. and Sylwia Wiker of Allentown; a cousin, Dale Kephart; and 15 grand children.
He was predeceased by son, Scott G. Coken.
