David E. Ebersole Sr., 68, of Schnecksville, formerly of San Bernardino County, Calif., died Aug. 2, 2015, in his home.

Born April 26, 1947, in Bozeman, Mont., he was the son of the late Carroll and Lois K. (Ericson) Ebersole.

He faithfully and honorably served his country in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War era.

Before retiring, he was a forklift mechanic at Cardinal Health Inc., Ontario, Calif., for many years.

His survivors include children Ericka M. Hall, with whom he resided, David E. Jr. of Palm Springs, Calif., and Christopher D. of Long Beach, Calif.; brother C. Scott of Saint Cloud, Minn.; eight grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter.

His service was private.
