Christine R. Karom, 83, of Orefield, died Aug. 8, 2015, in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township.

She and her husband Albert Karom were married 62 years last November.

Born in Lynn Township, she was the daughter of the late Clayton and Evelyn (Heintzelman) Werley.

A machine operator at Day-Timer before retiring in 1992, she was also a farmer from 1958 until present.

She was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Mertztown.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by a daughter Valerie Johnston and fiancé Michael Scherff Sr. of Fleetwood; and grandchildren Anthony, Baron and Brooklyn.
