Darius Rucker

Darius Rucker brings his blend of country hits and Hootie & the Blowfish classics to Musikfest, 7 p.m. Aug. 14, Sands Steel Stage, PNC Plaza, SteelStacks, Bethlehem. It's Rucker's second Musikfest concert (he headlined in 2013). Rucker was lead singer of Hootie & the Blowfish whose debut, "Cracked Rear View" (1994), had the hits "Hold My Hand," "Let Her Cry" and "Only Wanna Be With You." Rucker has released three chart-topping country albums and a holiday album. Rucker's "True Believers" (2013) had the No. 1 hit, "Wagon Wheel," which received a Grammy for Best Country Solo Performance. Opening the concert at 7 p.m. is Cassadee Pope, TV's "The Voice" third-season winner. Gates open at 6 p.m.
