Northwest Swim Club swimmer, Patrick Gilhool, broke a record in the 9-10 25 butterfly with a time of 14.38 at the ABE Swim Championships on July 25, won by Northwest.
Gilhool's new record broke a record set in 2007 by Rhett Karopoulos, who had a time of 15.42.
Gilhool also won the 9-10 25 backstroke in 18.11.
Andre Negron placed third in the 8&Under 25 butterfly in 24.17. Addison Collins was third in the 11-12 100 IM in 1:24.37, Malcom Collins won third place in the 9-10 25 breaststroke in 23.20, and Daniel Keats placed third in the 11-12 50 breaststroke in 43.59.
In 12&Under diving, Billy Muniz was third with 96.00 points.
Aaron Dolgos, Ben Stuckey, Nolan Vannata, and Brice Kessler won the 200 medley relay in 2:05.36.
Northwest had a 2-3-4 finish in the 15-18 100 free with Kessler finishing in 1:00.61, Jacob Jones in 1:01.28, and Stuckey in 1:01.39.
Vannata won the 15-18 100 IM in 1:06.46, the 15-18 50 breaststroke in 32.73, and placed third in the 15-18 50 butterfly in 30.26.
Kessler won the 15-18 50 backstroke in 31.99, Dolgos was second in the 15-18 100 IM in 11.90, and Stuckey placed third in the 15-18 50 breaststroke in 36.95.
Northwest took third place in the 6-18 200 free relay with Roman Herman, Addison Collins, Jones, Harrison Stevens, and Gilhool finishing in 2:08.62.
