Catherine M. "Cathy" Schiebel, 75, of Tamaqua, died unexpectedly July 30, 2015, in Sacred Heart Hospital, Allentown.

She and her husband Philip M. Schiebel celebrated their 26th wedding anniversary in November 2014.

Born in Parryville, she was a daughter of the late Allen and Edna (Drumheller) Moyer.

A 1957 graduate of Lehighton High School, she was last employed in the finishing department of the former Scotty's Fashions, Little Gap, for 30 years until retiring in 1996.

Prior to that, from 1958 to 1960, she was a waitress for the former Walk's Restaurant, Lehighton.

In addition to her husband she is survived by daughters, Tina L. and James Haydt of Deltona, Fla., and Chrystal L. Roberts of Palmerton; stepson Philip D. and Patricia Schiebel of Orefield; granddaughters Jacklyn Roberts and Alexis Jones; three step-grandchildren and two step-great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by siblings Roland and Allen Moyer, Hilda Stricker and stepdaughter Debra H. Schiebel.

Her memorial sevice will be 2 p.m. Aug. 8, in Robert S. Nester Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 2066 West Penn Pike, New Ringgold, with a calling hour beginning 1 p.m.

Interment will be at the convenience of the family.
