CULTURE CLUB

Culture Club, on its first tour in more than 14 years, headlines Musikfest, 8:30 p.m. Aug. 8, Sands Steel Stage, PNC Plaza, SteelStacks, Bethlehem. The group includes Mikey Craig, bass; Roy Hay, guitar, keyboards; Jon Moss, drums, percussion, and Boy George, lead vocals. Culture Club, winner of a 1984 Grammy Award for Best New Artist, had a string of Top 10 hits in the 1980s, starting with "Do You Really Want To Hurt Me," and was the first since The Beatles to have three Top 10 hits in the United States from a debut album. The group's hits include "I'll Tumble 4 Ya," "It's A Miracle," "Time (Clock of the Heart)" and "Karma Chameleon." Early next year, the band plans to release "Tribes," its first new album since 1999's "Don't Mind If I Do." Gates open at 6:30 p.m.
