Marilyn R. Butvich, 70, of Schnecksville, formerly of Allentown, and Putnam Valley, N.Y., died July 21, 2015, in her home.
She was the wife of the late Thomas J. Butvich.
Born May 25, 1945, in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late Frank A. and Alice (Glenn) Lorenz.
She faithfully and honorably served her country in the U.S. Air Force achieving the rank of captain during the Vietnam War era.
She was a registered nurse at Community Orthopedic Associates, Cortlandt Manor, N.Y., and Keller Army Community Hospital, West Point, N.Y. before retiring.
She was a member of Holy Trinity Roman Catholic Church, Egypt, Whitehall Township.
Her survivors include a daughter Allyson H. Weber and her husband, Bruce, with whom she resided; son Eric T. Butvich and his wife, Christine, of East Stroudsburg; brother, Glenn Lorenz and his wife, Lynn, of Ottsville; sister Betty Kelly and her husband, Robert of Springfield; grandchildren, Joshua, Matthew, Christopher and Gabriella.
She was predeceased by a grandson Timothy Egan Weber and a sister Lori Amato.
