It's time for our annual Family Fun Fest, set for Saturday, Aug. 8, 11:30 a.m.-3 p.m.

Tootsie will perform noon-1:30 p.m. with magic tricks, silly songs and balloon sculptures.

Free face painting will also be offered.

All summer reading program participants who get their certificates will receive a coupon for a free hot dog, and any child with a Coplay library card will receive a free Rita's Italian Ice.

The Coplay Fire Department will visit the library Monday, Aug. 3, 6-7 p.m. Learn all about our local firefighters, the gear they use and see the fire truck.

A Music and Movement session will be Wednesday, Aug. 5 at 1 p.m. followed by a craft. Our theme will be "Super Guinea Pig to the Rescue."

Christmas in July ends this Friday. If you haven't been in, please stop by and see our tree. It is decorated with handmade paper ornaments by our volunteers.

Story Time with Miss Jo will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 6, 13, 20 and 27. All ages are welcome, and no preregistration is necessary. If you have any questions, call the library at 610-262-7351.

Trivia Saturday is set for Aug. 1, noon-2 p.m. Scrabble night will be Monday, Aug. 31, 5-7 p.m.

Donations are now being accepted for our October book sale. All donations are tax deductible. We no longer accept VHS tapes, audio cassettes, encyclopedias or textbooks.
