Carol A. Fenstermaker, 74, died July 24, 2015, in Hometown Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Tamaqua.

She and her husband Thomas R. Fenstermaker, of South Whitehall, were married more than 53 years.

Born in Allentown, her parents were Chester and Jean.

Prior to retiring, she was a registered nurse at Fellowship Manor, Whitehall, and the VNA.

A member of First Baptist Church, Allentown, she enjoyed singing with the Zion Choral Society and belonged to the Red Hat Society.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by a daughter Jill C. Shupp and her husband, Richard, of Tamaqua; brother Ronald; sister Jane; and grandchildren Sarai and Micaiah.

She was predeceased by a son, Jason.

Her services will be at 11 a.m. July 30 at Trexler Funeral Home, 1625 Highland St., Allentown.

Calling hour begins at 10 a.m.

Contributions may be made in her memory to her husband to assist with final expenses.
