There will be a Salisbury High School tennis interest meeting 3 to 5 p.m. July 29 at Lindberg Park. Both girls and boys are welcome to attend and are asked to bring a racket. Girls practice starts Aug. 17 at Lindberg Park.

There will be a SHS golf meeting 7 p.m. July 29 in the school auditorium. An email has been sent to those who have previously expressed interest in playing. RSVP to Coach Pacitti at jpacitti@salisburysd.org as soon as possible.

Any student who has an interest in baton twirling is invited to open gym sessions at the Salisbury Middle School gym 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. every Wednesday beginning Aug. 19. Participants will need sneakers and comfortable clothes, but no experience is necessary. For information, contact Chris Tocci at ctocci@salisburysd.org.

Tickets are still available for the Salisbury Township bus trip to New York City Sept. 19.

The ticket includes entrance to the 9/11 memorial and memorial museum, lunch at Bryant Park and shopping time. There is a cost and registration must be made by Aug. 10 at the township building. For more information, contact the township building at 610-797-4000.

There will be a presentation by Jill Williams and Rachel Legath 6 to 7:30 p.m. Aug. 4 in the administration building. This presentation will focus on the developing child's positive self-awareness. The session will focus on teaching basic skills to determine the meaning behind problem behavior and how to build healthy, positive relationships. The Franco Farm yard waste drop-off site will be open 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Aug. 8 and Aug. 11.
