John J. Roman, 85, of Bethlehem, died July 14, 2015 at home. Born in Millvale, he was a son of the late Joseph and Jenny (Sahd) Roman. He was the husband of Helen J. (George) Roman for 60 years.
He was in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.
He worked in the tire business his whole life. Prior to his retiring, he was the owner-operator of Wholesale Tire and Tread Associates, Allentown.
He was a member of St. Elizabeth of Hungary Catholic Church, Whitehall.
He was a member of the Knights of Columbus and of the Donald S. Reinert Post 7293 VFW, Whitehall.
He is survived by two sons, George and David; two daughters, Kathi and Denise; twelve grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and two brothers, Charles of Philadelphia and Anthony of Atlantic City, N.J.
