Darren P. Polgardy, 56, of Laurys Station, North Whitehall Township, died suddenly July 12, 2015, in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Muhlenberg Campus, Bethlehem.

He and his wife Donna K. (Rabuck) Polgardy were married on Oct. 11, 1986.

Born in Warren, N.J., he was a son of Paul and Lois G. (Hahn) Polgardy of Bethlehem.

An insurance underwriter for Miravast Co., Flourtown, he previously worked in the same capacity for AIG Corp, Philadelphia, for many years.

An avid football fan, he enjoyed his Fantasy Football League, and cheering for the Washington Redskins.

In addition to his wife and parents, he is survived by daughters Abigail L., wife of Dylan Fenton, of Philadelphia, Rachel A. Polgardy of Laurys Station; granddaughter Frances; sister Paula, wife of Richard Kumpf, of Mendham, N.J.; niece Michelle; and nephew John.
