St. Peter's Church in Coplay is hosting its annual parish picnic and homecoming Sunday, Aug. 2, noon-10 p.m., on the church grounds at Fifth and Coplay streets.

Come out and enjoy the company of neighbors and friends while enjoying great musical entertainment, delicious food and games.

Remember to bring your lawn chairs so you can relax and spend a fun day at the picnic.

The Whitehall Township Public Library is presenting special music programs in the reference area of the library in memory and honor of the late George Schermerhorn, who served as the library board president. The first program in the series is 6:30 p.m., Thursday, July 30.

Dave Fry will entertain all ages with his fabulous musical performance. Stay tuned for more entertainers to come in this series.
