Stanley Reinhard Jr.
The passing of Stanley Reinhard Jr. leaves a void in the borough.
This Coplay resident served the community in various appointments and volunteer work.
In his early years, he was borough fire chief. He was also involved in church and community service projects and the planning commission.
It was Reinhard's commitment to his position of commander of the Coplay American Legion, Post 426, that propelled him as the Pennsylvania American Legion Adjutant, CEO of one of the country's largest Legion posts.
Always expecting no more from those involved in Legion and community programs than from himself, Reinhard was respected and admired by those whose lives he touched.
"Stan," as he was known to family, friends and others, was laid to rest on Monday.
