Sherryl Ann Carey, 55, of Tobyhanna, formerly of Bethlehem, died June 26, 2015, while in the care of the VA Medical Center, Wilkes Barre. Born in Macon, Ga., she was a daughter of the late Robert and Bessie (Woolfolk) Harrington. She was the wife of Charles O. Carey.

She was a communications specialist in the U.S. Army and was stationed in Mannheim, Germany, before becoming disabled and returning to the United States.

She was a member of Grace Deliverance Baptist Church, Bethlehem, where she was on many committees and sang in the choir.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by three daughters, Laniece and her husband Jose Milan of Tobyhanna, Christina and her husband Danielle of Virginia and Crystal and her husband Richard Blocker of South Carolina; three sons, Dale and his wife Michelle Ketchens of New Jersey, Anthony Jones of Tobyhanna and Christian Carey of Allentown; and many brothers and sisters, and especially Larry and Anthony Williams, Donna Thompson, Myrine and Jeffrey Harrington and Bill Fesenbeck; and 11 grandchildren.
