Raymond H. Hippenstiel, 86, of Bethlehem, died July 5, 2015, at Holy Family Manor, Bethlehem. Born in Allentown, he was a son of the late Raymond A. and Mabel (McCracken) Hippenstiel. He was the husband of Betty (Wimmer) Hippenstiel for 31 years.
He was a planner and estimator for Bethlehem Steel Corporation until he retired 1986.
He was a member of East Hills Moravian Church, Bethlehem.
He was a member of Silver Creek CC.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by three children, Linda Beidelman and Barbara Hippenstiel, both of Bethlehem, and Raymond of Birdsboro; two step-children, Diane Rogan of Nazareth and Dale Masteller of Catasauqua; 10 grandchildren; and13 great-grandchildren.
He was predeceased by as sister, Althea Jaxheimer; a brother, John Hippenstiel; and a great-grandson, Caleb Dancho.
