Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, 1235 Main St., will hold a flea market and bake sale Saturday, Aug. 8, 8 a.m.-1 p.m.

Food will be available for purchase.

Proceeds benefit the church building fund.

The Siegfried Railroad Station, the home of the Northampton Area Historical Society, will be open to visitors on Sunday, July 19, 1-4 p.m.

The station, located on West 21st Street (Route 329), is a museum housing artifacts of the Northampton area. There is a special display this year on local pharmacies.

The society is holding a mum sale. Orders can be placed on the third Sunday of July and August when the station is open or by calling 610-767-8420 or 610-262-4748. Deadline for orders is Tuesday, Sept. 1. Delivery will be at the station on Saturday, Sept. 12.

The Northampton Area School District Student Council will hold a car show Saturday, July 25, 9 a.m.-3 p.m., at Bicentennial Park West, Colony Drive, East Allen Township. The rain date is July 26.

The event will include cars, trucks, motorcycles, antique tractors and small engines.

Registration runs 9 a.m. to noon. Contact Roy at 610-440-2213 for questions or a registration form.

Dash plaques will be given to the first 100 pre-registered cars.

Awards, 25 in all, will be presented at 3 p.m.

There will also be door prizes, entertainment by a deejay, food, craft fair and flea market.

The Northampton Area Public Library will be closed until further notice due to the roof installation. No items are due and no late fines will be charged while the library is closed.

In other library news, local author and Marvel and DC illustrator Bob McLeod will be presenting two programs on Monday, Aug. 3.

The first, to be held at 1 p.m., will be a children's program focused on "Superhero ABC."

The second program, to be held at 2 p.m., will be for teens.

Sign-ups are not required for either program.

Munchkin Music, which was scheduled for July 13, will now be held Aug. 3 at 11 a.m.

The Northampton Area Food Bank will hold a Christmas in July food drive July 18 and 19, 9 a.m.-3 p.m., at Redner's Warehouse Market, Held Drive.
