The 25th anniversary of the signing of the Americans with Disabilities Act is July 26. The City of Bethlehem recently updated the city event forms to comply with the ADA. To comply, event planners have to include five feet of walking space on a sidewalk and 10 feet of walking space on a road.This also allows for better vendor placement.

To assist special event planners, the city has begun holding special activity meetings from 2 to 4 p.m. on the second Wednesday of each month at City Hall. 10 E. Church St. A representative from each department will be present to answer questions or address any issues.
