I was at the Hoover Mason Trestle today with my mother Jacqueline Nemeth Wehr and father William Wehr and there was a reporter from The Bethlehem Press who spoke with my father. He was doing an article on the Trestle and unfortunately my father didn't recall his name.
Both my mother (Jacqueline Nemeth Wehr) and my grandfather (John F. Nemeth) worked at the Steel. My grandfather was one of many welders who left his mark on the stacks. Attached is a picture of him in 1967 as well as a picture of his name welded into the stacks (Nemeth).
I am sure when he welded his name into the stacks I wasn't even born but when we saw his name in the steel today, it was a very bright spot to a very rainy morning. What an absolutely wonderful job they have done with the trestle and strongly recommend checking it out. Beautiful view, great perspective and good insight back into the days steel.
I am hoping if I did not find the correct person you might be able to pass the pictures along.
Thank you for your time.
