Student to perform at Levitt

About 20 students from the Broughal MS orchestra will perform "A-flat" live on stage with Black Violin at 7:30 p.m. July 11 at Levitt Pavilion SteelStacks, 101 Founders Way.

Prior to the performance, Black Violin's classical and hiphop artists Baptiste and Sylvester will conduct an hour-long master class and rehearsal with the orchestra at the school.The duo participates in arts education programs and residencies at schools and communities across the country.

Adam Stoltz, the school's orchestra director, says the experience will inspire students to expand their music styles. For information, visit www.levittsteelstacks.org.
