A lot of residents in the Stiles community were hit badly by the recent hail storm and high winds.

Watching neighbors help each other clean up their properties and be there for support has been very encouraging and comforting. Rebuilding, re-siding and replacing roofs will take time, but for the most part, everyone seems to be safe and that is the bright point.

Keep looking ahead, take it day by day and try to enjoy the rest of the summer!

Stiles residents, mark your calendar for Sunday, Aug. 2, noon to 10 p.m. This is the day that St. Peter's Church in Coplay is holding its annual parish picnic and homecoming. This is always a fun gathering for all who attend. It seems far away, but we all know it will be here before we know it.
