The City of Bethlehem will be closing sections of Pierce Street this week, until mid-2016, between Third and Fourth Sts. There will be an access opening to Evans St. and the parking lot north of Evans.

The construction of the proposed Greenway Commons project along Third St. between Fillmore and Buchanan sts. will span sides of Pierce St.

The detour will direct motorists to Fillmore St., and to yield to oncoming traffic at the Greenway crossing.
