Andrew Farrell Sr., 81, of Freemansburg, died July, 1, 2015, at ManorCare Health Services, Bethlehem. Born in Fountain Hill, he was the son of the late Andrew P. and Irene (Pearl) Farrell.He was the husband of Lorraine (Horn) Mast-Farrell for 24 years.
He was in the U.S. Army, and was stationed in Japan during the Korean Conflict.
He was a machinist and worked in plant operations for Bethlehem Steel Corporation until he retired after 28 years of service. He then worked for 13 years for the Northampton County Parks and Recreation division. He was a member of the Pennsylvania Federation of Injured Workers and of the Bethlehem Steelworkers' Archives.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by five children, Andrew and his wife Misuk of Bethlehem Township, LuAnne of Allentown, Linda and her husband Brian Krof of Bethlehem Township, Michael of Beltzville and Lisa of Hellertown; three step-children, Stephanie DePietro and Victoria Mast. both of Freemansburg, and Christine and her husband Bart Kluemper of Bethlehem; a sister, JoAnne Stiles of Bethlehem; 12 grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren.
Contributions may be made to an animal shelter of one's choice.
