The 2015-2016 Salisbury golf season is ramping up. Information about practice schedules, matches, current rosters/rotations and other resources are available at the Salisbury High School golf site at shsgolf.wordpress. com. The Wildlands Conservancy has some very fun and interesting programs running this summer. Here are a few examples: Lehigh River bike and boat, July 11: ride your bike for four miles down the Lehigh Canal towpath then paddle down the Lehigh River in a canoe and all equipment is included in the class fee; Firefly hike, July 15: hike to be held at Camp Fowler in Orefield; Wildlife photography class, July 18: learn the art of wildlife photography and the best places to catch a great shot. The class will be held at Monocacy Park, Bethlehem; The program, "In the Creek," July 19: wade through Trout Creek in Allentown and learn all about the creatures who live there.

Jerusalem Western Salisbury Church is again holding its summer concert series. The Lehigh Valley Harmonizers will perform 7:30 p.m. July 21. The concert will be in the main sanctuary with a reception immediately following in the chapel. All the concerts are free of charge and an offering will be taken.
Jerusalem Western Salisbury Church will not hold the monthly community breakfast during July and August.
The Sapphire portal is up. Students at Salisbury Middle School and Salisbury High School can now access the portal to find their class schedule for next year.
Summer library hours at Salisbury High School will be held 9 to 11 a.m. July 14 hosted by Jane Brennan and July 21 hosted by Barb Jaindl.
The Devonshire drop-off yard waste site will be open 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. July 18 and 21 and 3 to 6 p.m. July 9 and 13.
