Traditional summertime events are on the calendar at Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church in Egypt.
Vacation Bible School will take place July 6-10, 6-8:30 p.m. Open to children age 3 through just having completed sixth grade will discover how to see evidence of God in everyday life, with a program entitled "Everest." Teens can also participate as crew leaders to assist with the younger children at VBS.
The children will also participate in a mission project for Operation Kid-to-Kid that will lend a helping hand to children in Thailand.

Volunteers to help with the program are appreciated. Indicate your interest using the online registration form.
The church is located on Route 329 in Egypt.

Mark your calendar for the July 26 annual park service and church picnic. Worship will begin at the Egypt Memorial Park at 10:15 p.m., and the congregational picnic will begin at noon. Call the church for more information.
