State Police Troop M Bethlehem allege Michael Craft and Kimberly Rhode, both 47, from Allentown, stole metals such as brass, cooper and steel 10:20 a.m. June 16 after trespassing onto property belonging to a 60-year-old man in the 4500 block of Peters Ave., Orefield.

Both Craft and Rhode were taken into custody during the commission of the crime, police say.

Charges for theft, receiving stolen property and trespassing were filed against Craft and Rhode with District Judge Jake Hammond, South Whitehall Township.

State Police Troop M Fogelsville say Xiao Zhu, 51, of Fresh Meadows N.Y., was stopped for allegedly speeding at 3:24 p.m. on June 15, along I-78, Upper Macungie Township.

Police allege Zhu was in possession of five cartons of cigarettes from Virginia.

Charges were filed, police say.

Items stolen

from vehicles

State Police Troop M Bethlehem say numerous items were stolen from two vehicles 8:21 p.m. on June 9 while they were parked on Cove Road, North Whitehall.
