Schleyer named landfill manager

Al Schleyer is the new Bethlehem Landfill district manager following nine years as the facility's compliance manager.

He earned a bachelor of science degree in environmental science and resource management from Lehigh University. He has been certified for 20 years with the Institute of Professional Environmental Practice. He has 29 years of environmental sector experience.

The operation is located at 2335 Applebutter Road, Lower Saucon Township.

Resident to attend Elizabethtown

Sandeep Saini, a graduate of Freedom HS, has been accepted at Elizabethtown College in Elizabethtown. Elizabethtown College is a private coed institution located in historic Lancaster County.
