Daryl L. Smith, 63, of Slatington, died on June 22, 2015, in his home.

He and his wife Janet A. (Soha) Smith were married 19 years last Oct. 31.

Born in Northampton County, he was the son of the late Robert D. and Marian S. (Kimminour) Smith.

A material cutter at the former Tama Mfg., Northampton, for 26 years, he enjoyed buying, selling and restoring pin ball machines.

He will be remembered for the love he had for his family and for the peace and solitude he found being near his coy and goldfish pond.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by a daughter Leea A. Smith-Esterly and her husband, Jason, of Aurora, Colo.; stepchildren Betty K. Terry and her husband, Michael, of Barnsville, Bobbie Ann McClarnon and her husband, John, of Hatfield, Brian R. Snyder of Barnsville; siblings Janet L. Moyer and her husband, Terry, of Parryville, Lori A. Sorady and her husband, Tim, of Bath, Robert D. Smith III and his wife, Linda, of New Tripoli; three grandchildren; and five step-grandchildren.

He was predeceased by a son Jason Smith.

His service will be private. There will be no calling hours.
