Lehigh Carbon Community College

Several Bethlehem residents graduated on May 20 from Lehigh Carbon Community College. The 48th annual spring commencement took place in Berrier Hall, main campus, Schnecksville, with LCCC President Dr. Ann D. Bieber presiding.

The graduates (pending verification of academic record) and their degrees are Tracy Alfaro*, Brianny Badia, Cyndi Derr, Calvin Finley, Marguerite Freedman*, Joseph Galimi**, Richard Guarino, Ana Krawetz*, Micquel Mabry, Irina Mercado, Ehabe Nzaih Bweh, Latisha Ramos and Ivory Stellato, all of Bethlehem.

Key: *graduated Cum Laude, earning a grade point average of 3.5 - 3.75; **graduated Magna Cum Laude, earning a grade point average of 3.75 - 3.95; ***graduated Summa Cum Laude, earning a grade point average of 3.95 - 4.0.

Boston University

Two Bethlehem residents graduated recently from Boston University. Receiving degrees were Nancy M. Gonzalez, master of criminal justice in criminal justice, and Margaret A. Bruce, bachelor of arts in marine science, magna cum laude.

Western New England

Bethlehem resident Michael Edward Derkits graduated recently from Western New England University with a doctor of pharmacy.

SUNY/Oswego

Bethlehem resident Rebecca Unger graduated recently from SUNY/Oswego with a bachelor of arts degree in language and international trade.

Widener UNiversity

Two Bethlehem residents graduated recently from Widener University School of Law Delaware campus. Kelly Fackenthall and Grace Smith received juris doctors.
