Drugs reported stolen from purse

A 27-year-old woman from the 100 block of Spring Street, Nazareth, reported to police seven amphetamine pills were stolen from her purse around 3:45 p.m. June 10.

Police say entry was made through an unlocked door at Person Directed Services, 5925 Tilghman St., Upper Macungie Township.

This incident remains under investigation.

Truck tractor hits

crash cushion

Upper Macungie Township police say Igor Grinev, 27, of the 1800 block of W. Main St., Ephrata, was driving a 2009 Sterling tractor pulling a Great Dane trailer when it struck a crash cushion 5:40 a.m. June 17 on Route 222, in the area of the Home Town Diner, 8732 Hamilton Blvd., Upper Macungie Township.

Police say Grinev told them a deer ran sout across the road causing him to swerve.

The truck tractor struck the crash cushion, causing heavy left side damage to the truck and trailer.

Grinev was uninjured, police say.

The tractor and trailer were removed by Hauser's Towing.

Mail stolen

from mailbox

Police say a 46-year-old resident of the 700 block of Yorkshire Drive, Upper Macungie, reported two greeting cards containing gift cards were stolen from her mailbox sometime between 7 p.m. on June 2 and 6:30 a.m. the next day .

In a separate incident, police say a 47-year-old woman reported two pieces of outgoing mail was stolen overnight between June 5-6 from her mailbox along Tillage Road, Upper Macungie Township.
