Members of the Delaware-Lehigh Amateur Radio Club will be participate in a free, open to the public national Amateur Radio Field Day 24 hour exercise from 2 p.m. June 27 until 2 p.m. June 28 at Louise Moore Park, Country Club Road, Easton. There will be a VE license test session on June 27.

Beginning at 2 p.m. June 27, DLARC will be testing local emergency preparedness operations by setting up radio stations, erecting antennas and then transmitting for the next 24 hours under simulated emergency conditions. A free, no license required GOTA (Get On The Air) station will be available to anyone that wishes to make actual radio contacts during Field Day.
