Marilyn E. "Mitzi" Hardy, 82, formerly of Orefield, died June 12, 2015, Fellowship Manor, Whitehall.

Born March 11, 1933, in Olean, N.Y., she was the daughter of the late Charles C. and Thelma E. (Cranmer) Eakin.

A secretary for The Prudential Insurance Company, Fogelsville, for 18 years, she retired in 1996.

She attended Hope Community Church, Weisenberg Township.

Her survivors include children Charles E. and his wife, Su, of Schnecksville, George R. and his wife, Sarah, of Bethlehem, Catherine L. Wimble and her husband, Mark, of Emmaus; sisters Joanne F. Pontius and her husband, William, and Alice J. Taylor and her husband, James, all of Butler; 11 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; three nieces and one nephew.
