Jean Grim, 67, of Whitehall, died peacefully June 7, 2015, with her loving and devoted family by her side in Lehigh Valley Hospice, Allentown.

Born in Allentown, she was a daughter of the late John F. and Emma E. (Schreibeck) Schuch Sr.

She and her husband Francis E. Grim spent 46 wonderful years together.

A member of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, Allentown, she enjoyed being a pierogi maker at St. Peter's Catholic Church in Coplay.

A 1966 graduate of Allentown Central Catholic High School, she was an executive secretary at PP&L for more than 40 years before retiring in 2008.

She was a past president of PP&L's women's bowling league.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by a daughter Francine Charlie and her husband, Jay, of Whitehall, along with her cherished granddaughter Sydney; sister Joyce Naydyhor and her husband, Anthony ,of Bethlehem; and a host of nieces, nephews and their families.

She was predeceased by her sister Eleanor Peltz and brother John Schuch Jr.

Services will be 11 a.m. June 12, in Gilbert Funeral Home, 444 Pershing Blvd., Whitehall, with Pastor Mark J. Crocco officiating.

Her viewing begins 9 a.m. Interment will be private.
