Juvenile charged

with harassment

State Police Troop M Bethlehem say a 12-year-old Orefield girl struck another 12-year-old Orefield girl in the face several times with a closed fist during class at 2 p.m. on May 26 at KidsPeace, 5300 Kids-Peace Drive, North Whitehall Township.

The second girl sustained minor redness to her forehead.

The first girl will be charged with harassment, police say.

A non-traffic citation will be filled with District Judge Jake Hammond, South Whitehall Township.

Park scoreboard damaged by teens

State Police Troop M Bethlehem say three male juveniles, a 14-year-old, 15-year-old and 16-year-old were cited with non-traffic citations for damage done 3:58 p.m. May 24 to a scoreboard at Ormrod Park, 2684 Levans Road, North Whitehall Township.

Police say the teens were cited before District Judge Jake Hammond, South Whitehall Township.

Briefcase stolen from vehicle

State Police Troop M Fogelsville say John James McDonald reported a briefcase containing work papers and laptop was stolen sometime between 1-5:30 a.m. May 15 after a window was broken on a locked vehicle at 5322 Lindsay Lane, North Whitehall Township.

A purse was also stolen from an unlocked vehicle at the same time and location, police say.
