Mathias R. Forro, 78, of Bethlehem Township, died May 26, 2015. Born in Hungary, he was a son of the late Matyas and Veronica (Schon) Forro. He was the husband of Theresa (Herczeg) Koteles Forro.

He earned an engineering degree in college in Hungary prior to emigrating to the U.S.

He worked for Bethlehem Steel Corp. for 35 years until he retired in 1995.

He was a member of the former St. John Capistrano R.C Church, Bethlehem.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, Stephen and his wife Maryann of Allentown; a daughter, Margaret Hopkins of Allentown; and a step-daughter, Isabelle Simon of Florida; two sisters, Edith Toth and Marianna Varga; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Arrangements were made by James Funeral Home Inc., Bethlehem.
