Erwin S. Zettlemoyer Jr., 96, died May 26, 2015, in St. Luke's Hospice House. Born in Waverly, N.Y., he was a son of the late Erwin S. and Helen V. (Ruth) Zettlemoyer. He was the husband of Esther (Sloyer) Zettlemoyer for 72 years.

He was a metallurgist at the Bethlehem Steel Corp. for 42 years, and worked at the Homer Research Center until he retired.

He was a member of Emmanuel E.C. Church, Bethlehem, where he was a past president of the Bethlehem chapter of the Full Gospel Business Men's Fellowship.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, Joel and his wife Diana of Walnutport; three daughters, Judith and her husband Nicholas Dologite of Nazareth, Joyce Zettlemoyer of Bethlehem and Jane and her husband Fred Ayre of Bethlehem; eight grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; and two great-great-granddaughters.
