A 34-year-old Nazareth man died from injuries he received when the 2007 Harley Davidson he was operating along Schantz Road at Industrial Boulevard was struck by a truck tractor 10:30 p.m. May 25.

Upper Macungie Township police say Jeffrey R. Snyder was southbound on Schantz Road as Justin M. Sullivan, 22, of Allentown, was leaving private property at 7248 Industrial Blvd.

According to police, Sullivan allegedly failed to see the motorcycle and pulled out into the roadway.

The motorcycle struck the front passenger side corner of the truck.

Snyder was pronounced dead 11:25 p.m. that evening by Deputy Coroner Craig Hanzl.

The coroner ruled Snyder's manner of death an accident. The Lehigh County Coroner's Office and Upper Macungie police are conducting the investigation with the assistance of the Lehigh County District Attorney's Office.

The roadway was closed for approximately five hours while police investigated.
