Joan E. Dotterer, 67, of Lenharts-ville, formerly of Kempton, died May 23, 2015, in St. Joseph's Medical Center, Reading.
Born in Reading, she was a daughter of the late Melvin T. and Luella K. (George) Dotterer.
Her mother died on March 20.
A member of the Weisenberg Lutheran Church, New Tripoli, she attended Kutztown School District.
Also a member of the Kempton Fire Company and Virginsville Grange, she loved and enjoyed working and helping, along with her mother, at the Kempton Community Center for its various activities.
She liked to play bingo, especially loved traveling with her mother to see many country music shows over the past years, and faithfully supported her church by selling chicken barbecue and hoagie tickets to her Kempton neighbors to help with church fundraisers.
Her survivors include her sister, Judith A., wife of Dennis M. Stetzler, of Lenhartsville, with whom she last resided and nephews and nieces.
Her funeral service will be 11 a.m, May 28, in the Weisenberg Lutheran Church, 7645 Weisenberg Church Road, New Tripoli, with the Rev. Raymond J. Hand officiating.
Calling hours will preceed the service beginning at 9:30 a.m.
Interment will take place in the adjoining cemetery.
The family requests in lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory be made to the Weisenberg Lutheran Church Memorial Fund, sent to the church address.
