Parkland High School brought home 2015 Freddy Awards for Outstanding Performance by an Orchestra and Outstanding Use of Costumes for its production of "Into the Woods,"
Victoria Bartkavage, as the Baker's Wife in the fairy-tale musical fantasy, won a Freddy for Outstanding Performance by an Actress in a Leading Role; and Hannah Hakim, who was nominated for Outstanding Performance by an Actress in a Supporting Role for her portrayal as Little Red Ridinghood, won a West Virginia University four-year, full-tuition scholarship worth $76,000.
