Commencement for the Salisbury High School Class of 2015 will be held 6 p.m. June 3 at Allentown Symphony Hall. Admission is by ticket only.
Due to all those glorious snow days we had in January, June 8 through 11 will be snow makeup days for Salisbury Township School District schools. School will dismiss at regular time June 8 and 9.
The high school and middle school will dismiss 12:15 p.m. June 10 and 10:30 a.m. June 11. Both elementary schools will dismiss 1 p.m. June 10 and 11:15 a.m. June 11. Happy summer.
Western Salisbury Elementary School will host its curriculum and art show 7 p.m. May 28. Come out and roam the halls of WSE to check out the artwork of these talented students.
SHS is conducting impact testing for any student planning on playing a fall sport. If you are a new athlete, a current eighth grader or haven't had an impact test for two years, the test is for you. Testing will take place in the high school computer lab (Room 005) 3 and 3:30 p.m. May 26 and May 28. The test will take about 30 minutes and testers are asked to arrive on time.
A tennis camp is available for WSE, Harry S Truman Elementary School and Salisbury Middle School students ages eight to 14. There are two different camps for different skill levels. For full details and the registration form, visit the SMS website under School News. Sounds like fun to me.
There is an operations committee meeting 7 p.m. June 1 in the administration building, 1140 Salisbury Road.
The Devonshire yard waste drop-off site will be open 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. May 30 and June 2.
