A big congratulations to Salisbury High School sophomores Mason Groff and John Yurconic for winning the state bronze boys tennis Class 2A Doubles medal for their win in Lancaster County May 23. You guys had a fantastic season.

The SHS varsity baseball team lost a nail-biting District XI Class 2A semifinal game against Schuylkill Haven May 23. The boys lost 2-1 in the bottom of the 12th inning. Great game guys and thanks for the amazing season.

Salisbury athletic fall physicals will take place June 1 at Salisbury Middle School. There is a cost and cash or checks made payable to Salisbury Township School District will be accepted June 1. Physicals for boys will be take place 5 p.m. for boys soccer, 5:15 p.m. for football and 5:40 p.m. for all other boys. Physicals for girls will take place 6 p.m. for field hockey, 6:15 p.m. for girls soccer, 6:30 p.m. for cheerleading and 6:45 p.m. for all other girls. The last day of school for the senior class is May 28. The graduation ceremony for the Class of 2015 will be held 6 p.m. June 3. The last day of school for all other students is June 11.
