Stella Gaspar, 91, formerly of Walnutport, died May 11, 2015, at The Village at Palmerton.
She was the wife of the late Manuel Gaspar.
Born Nov. 17, 1923, in Palmerton, she was the daughter of the late Michael and Katherine (Ruwutska) Bohdan.
A licensed practical nurse, she was employed for a private duty nursing agency in the Lehigh Valley for several years.
Prior to that, she worked in the same capacity at Allentown State Hospital for five years.
She also was co-owner, with her husband, of the former Gaspar Hotel for 13 years and the Gaspar Trailer Park, Walnutport, for 15 years.
Her survivors include children Barbara M. McCullen of Ocean City, Md., Vincent L. Gaspar and his wife, Dianne, of Slatington, Manuela L. Reitz of Slatington, Bradley M. Gaspar and his wife, Susan, of Danielsville; six grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by one grandson.
Her funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. May 18, in Heintzelman Funeral Home Inc., 4906 Route 309, Schnecksville, with the Rev. James W. Schlegel officiating.
Family and friends may pay their respects 9:30-10:30 a.m. Monday in the funeral home.
Interment will follow the service at Fairview Cemetery, Slatington.
