FALCON INSIDER Salisbury Baccalaureate May 14

The graduating class of 2015 and their families are invited to attend the Salisbury High School Baccalaureate 7 p.m. May 14 at Asbury United Methodist Church, 1533 Springhouse Road, Allentown.

The service has been planned by the students.

A farewell address as well as inspirational messages from teachers will be included in the candlelight service.

Salisbury High School will administer Keystone exams for selected students in grades nine through 11 for the next two weeks.

Algebra test dates are May 13 and 14; biology test dates are May 18 and 19 and literature test dates are May 20 and 21.

On May 13, students taking Keystone tests will report to SHS at the regular time (7:35 a.m. with transportation provided). There will be a two and a half hour delay for all other SHS students and they will report to school 10:05 a.m. Students who are not testing should report to their bus stops two and a half hours later than their scheduled morning pick-up time.

For all other test dates, the high school will run on a two-hour delay schedule. Students testing should report to school at the regular time, while all other students will report 9:35 a.m. Students who are not testing should report to their bus stops two hours later than their scheduled morning pick-up time. There is no change in schedule for LCTI students and CAP and Academic students will be testing there.

Come out and support the art program in Salisbury. SHS will host the middle and high school art show 6 to 8 p.m. May 13, in the high school old gym. The art show will feature artwork from students in sixth through 12th grades.

During the show, donations to the Scott Atiyeh Memorial Scholarship will be accepted and voting will take place for additions to the high school art gallery. There will also be music and refreshments. Parents and community members are invited to engage in conversation with our new administrators, Dr. Randy Ziegenfuss, superintendent, and Lynn Fuini-Hetten, assistant superintendent.

Ziegenfuss and Fuini-Hetten are hosting a coffee and conversation meeting 10 to 11 a.m. May 15 and 6 to 7 p.m. May 18 at the Salisbury Township School District administration building. RSVP for this event is requested by May 13 to Mary Bishop at mbishop@stsd.org or call 610-797-2062, ext. 1000.

There will be a 12:15 p.m. dismissal for Salisbury Middle School and SHS students May 22.

There will be no school May 25 for the Memorial Day holiday.

Salisbury High School's Prom will be held 5 to 11 p.m. May 22 at Bethlehem Steel Stacks. Wishing everyone attending has a fun, safe night.

SHS will hold theannual academic and service awards program 7 p.m. May 26 in the high school auditorium.

The last day of school for the senior class is May 28.

The graduation ceremony for the Class of 2015 will be held 6 p.m. June 3.

The last day of school for all other students is June 11.
