Gerald L. Hannis, 74, from Allentown, died April 28, 2015, in Lehigh Valley Hospital.

He and his wife Judith "Judy" C. (Neimeyer) Hannis were married 57 years.

Born in Allentown, he was the son of the late James L. and Dorothy Mae (Moyer) Hannis.

A foreman in Machine Shop No. 2 at Bethlehem Steel, he retired in 1995.

He enjoyed fishing, hunting and spending time with his family.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by daughters, Denise, wife of Jim Williams of Northampton, Carol, wife of Steve Meyer, of Aurora Colo.; grandchildren Chris, Jeremy, Delicia, Josh, Jennifer and Krystal; and great-grandchildren, Camryn, Caley, Arianna, Dominic, Delaney and Natalie.

He was predeceased by four brothers and one sister.
