Gerald Gill, 85, of Allentown, died April 29, 2015, in Cedarbrook Nursing Home, South Whitehall.

He was the husband of the late Camilla E. (Harris) Gill.

Born May 25, 1929, in Hazleton, he was the son of the late Lucian J. and Theresa (Fellon) Gill.

He faithfully and honorably served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean War era.

He was a meat cutter for Laneco, Lehighton, before retiring.

A member of the United Church of God, Hellertown, he was a friend to many and loved by all.

His survivors include children Norma E. Salamah of Skippack, Pastor David A. Havir and his wife, Pam, of Big Sandy, Texas, Cammy E. Kiechel of Allentown, John W. Havir and his wife, Bonnie, of Huntington, W.Va.; brother, Fred Gill and his wife, Shirley, of Hazleton; nine grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

He was predeceased by a brother Joseph L. Gill.
