It is hard to believe May is upon us already, however, it is nice to see flowers blooming and nice green grass. The school year is slowly winding down but there are still lots of activities going on.
The Pennsylvania System of School Assessment, or PSSA, makeup tests continue through the week and end May 8 for those who may have missed an exam.
The Harry S Truman Elementary School third grade and chorus spring concert will be held 2 p.m. May 7.
There will be a curriculum committee meeting 7 p.m. May 11 in the administration building, 1140 Salisbury Road.
Students in the third, fourth and fifth grades at Harry S Truman will participate in field day 1 p.m. May 12. Look for information to come home if you offered to volunteer for this fun day.
A school board meeting will be held 7:30 p.m. May 13 in the administration building, 1140 Salisbury Road.
A curriculum, technology and art show is scheduled 7 p.m. May 19 at HST. Look for more information to be sent home with your child.
All Salisbury Township School District schools are open for a half day May 22 as a snow make-up day. All district schools will be closed May 25 in observance of the Memorial Day holiday.
The Franko Farm recycling drop-off center will be open 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. May 9 and 12.
