Ira H. "Ike" Kerschner, 77, of Orefield, died on April 20, 2015, at his home.
He and his wife Patrice A. (Sinkbile) Kerschner were married for 19 years.
Born April 9, 1938, in Allentown, he was the son of the late Henry B. and Rebecca H. (Peterson) Kerschner.
A technician in the electronic technology industry for many years before retiring, he was an avid radio ham with call letters N3IK.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by children Larsen P. at home, Joseph H. of Coplay, Staff Sgt. Joshua K. of Vandenburg AFB, Calif., Katelynn R. at home, Belle Dickey of Bath, Jeffrey of Washington; stepson Jason A. Mauger of Allentown; 10 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
A private graveside service will take place at Jordan Lutheran Church Cemetery, Orefield.
There will be no calling hours.
