Franklin J. Gibson Sr., 78, of Wescosville, died April 21, 2015, in his home.

He and his wife Yvonne Gibson were married 18 years.

Born Nov. 18, 1936, in Allentown, he was the son of the late Samuel J. and Nellie E. (Lauendurg) Gibson.

He served in the U.S. Air Force for eight years and worked at Mack Trucks Inc. for 30 years before retiring in 1995.

In addition to his wife, he is suvived by children Diane Baumer, Sharon Polster, Franklin J. Jr., Brian and Shawn; step-children Thomas Yost, Wendy McLean and Estelle Ramaglia; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

He was predeceased by a son James and a brother James.
